Press Release: Studebakers 50’s Diner For Immediate Release: March 1, 2008 Contact: Kurtis Wheeler or Ken Brownstein 509-782-4444 Studebakers 50’s Diner under New Proprietorship Cashmere residents Kurtis Wheeler and Ken Brownstein are the new proprietors of Studebakers 50’s Diner located inside Apple Annie Antique Mall in Cashmere, WA. Mr. Wheeler has been the manager of the diner for the last 6 months so it was an easy transition. Mr. Wheeler’s culinary education is from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI and he started working as an executive Chef on The Spirit of Alaska Cruise Ship. His most recent position was a Food and Beverage Manager at Crystal Mountains Ski Resort for the past 15 years. Mr. Brownstein has recently retired from PACCAR, INC. in Bellevue, WA. where he was senior counsel. After moving to Cashmere, Mr. Brownstein has been involved with the Cashmere Parks and Recreation Department. Studebakers hours will remain the same 7AM to 8PM Monday thru Sunday. All pastries and hamburger buns are purchased from a local bakery. The change becomes effective on March 1st, 2008. |
